Pre-order and retail availability of the Kobo Sage are set to coincide with that of its sibling, the Kobo Libra 2, starting on October 5th, 2021. From October 19th onwards, these e-readers will be available in-store for book lovers to explore.

The Kobo Libra 2 retails at S$289, and interested customers can also opt for a SleepCover accessory at S$59. In contrast, the Kobo Sage is positioned as a premium, luxury-tier e-reader with an official price tag of S$399.

What sets these e-readers apart? The Kobo Libra 2 features a 7-inch HD E Ink Carta 1200 glare-free screen (1,680 x 1,264 pixels resolution) and Bluetooth connectivity, making it a great option for those who want to upgrade from their current e-reader. On the other hand, the Kobo Sage boasts an 8-inch HD E Ink Carta 1200 glare-free display (1,920 x 1,440 pixels resolution).

Both e-readers support multiple eBook formats, including EPUB, EPUB3, PDF, FlePub, and MOBI. They are also IPX8-certified, ensuring they can withstand accidental splashes or spills.

The Kobo Sage offers a range of features designed to enhance the reading experience, such as adjustable brightness and color temperature (ComfortLight PRO) for more comfortable reading. It also comes with DropBox storage (32GB), allowing users to store their favorite books easily.
